Washington, Feb 23 : Britney Spears' cousin Alli Sims has revealed what exactly is going on in the singer's life, insisting that she still talks to the troubled pop star.
Speaking at the Montblanc Oscar Brunch at Casey Johnson's Villa in Beverly Hills, Sims said that everyone goes through weird patches in life and that's what happened with Britney, who was involuntarily hospitalised twice to treat her bipolar disorder and is currently under the supervision of her father Jamie Spears.
However, the pop wreck's cousin insists that Britney is fine and will soon get some structure in her life with support of her friends and family.
"I cannot really say much more about [her], but she is doing well," Usmagazine.com quoted Sims, as saying.
"Everybody just keeps supporting her and rooting [for] her because everyone kind of goes through weird little patches in [their] life.
"You just need friends and family and everyone to support you and help you through it, and everything will be okay," she added.
Sims, who is working on her first album, is also claiming that she and Britney 'will definitely collaborate on something.'
"I think we are kind of both open to anything. We are really good friends, we are really close, and we really love working on stuff together, so I think that possibly something like that could happen," Sims said.
