Christopher Rouse won the feature film/drama category for his editing of the blockbuster 'Bourne Ultimatum,' while Chris Lebenzon captured the award in the feature/musical or comedy category for editing the gloomy musical 'Sweeny Todd.'
Norman Jewison bagged the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year award, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Geoffrey Richman, Chris Seward and Dan Swietlik won best-edited documentary for Michael Moore's 'Sicko.'
In the realm of television, editors of popular TV favourites took home awards for their excellence, including best half-hour series HBO comedy sitcom 'Curb Your Enthusiasm's' Steven Rasch.
For the pilot of action/comedy 'Chuck,' Norman Buckley was awarded for the best-edited one-hour series for commercial television.
Sydney Wolinsky, for editing the 'Made in America' episode of hit HBO series 'The Sopranos,' was honoured as the best-edited one-hour series for non-commercial television.
'The Company's' Scott Vickery and Robert Ferretti were awarded for the best-edited miniseries or motion picture for commercial television.
Chuck Montgomery and Michael Glickman, for the suspenseful and action-filled 'Cops,' were honoured for the best-edited non-scripted/reality series.
Millie Moore and Bud Smith were given lifetime achievement awards.
Also awarded was the winner of the student editing competition: Soogin Chung of the American Film Institute.
