Ill never get married, says Natalie Portman

Actress Natalie Portman refuses to get married, because she believes that she doesnt require a piece of paper to prove her love and commitment to her partner.

Washington, Feb 17 : Actress Natalie Portman refuses to get married, because she believes that she doesn't require a piece of paper to prove her love and commitment to her partner.

The Star Wars actress, who is currently dating fashion designer Nathan Bogle, said that she does not see any reason why she should follow the dictates of the government on marriage.

Natalie has rubbished the legal aspects involved in the exchanging of marital vows, saying that it is unfair that gay couples are not given the same rights.

"I'm into monogamy. But I'm not really into marriage. I sort of hate the legal aspect of it. What does the state have to do with it?" Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"Why are they making rules that say my lover can stay in the United States if they're foreign or share my health care benefits because I'm straight - but if you're gay, you can't have that?" she added.
