London, Feb 16 : Kylie Minogue will honour her friend Sir Paul McCartney at The Brits with Outstanding Contribution To Music award.
According to a source, the former Beatle bonded with the Australian singer on BBC2 program, Jool's Holland annual 'Hootenanny,' where they performed a duet.
When the performance ended, Macca gave Kylie a big hug, lifting her off the ground.
"Macca will be chuffed. He and Kylie have grown close. They hit it off when they duetted at Jools Holland's Hootenanny on New Year's Eve," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.
Macca, who will close the star-studded event with a medley of his hits, revealed that he can't wait for his big night and believes that this year's Brits will be one of the best yet.
Meanwhile, the legendary singer has agreed to pay over 108 million dollars to estranged wife Heather Mills, as part of their divorce settlement.
Mills has been given the custody of Beatrice, but Macca will have equal visitation rights.
Sir Paul has also agreed to set up a 2 million-dollar trust fund that his daughter can access when she turns 18.
