When the 'Spider-Man' actress checked into rehab earlier this month, her fans were left stunned.
But those closest to the star were familiar with her lust for hard partying, with some pals blaming Kirsten's wild ways on her 2005 split from Brokeback Mountain star Gyllenhaal.
"Jake was turned off by all the partying," Usmagazine.com quoted a source as saying.
Sources have also revealed that the actress used to encourage the cast and crew of her upcoming movie 'How to Lose Friends and Alienate People' to drink.
"Whenever the cast and crew were out, she was the centre of the group - doing shots and encouraging everyone to drink," the source said.
"There was no such thing as 'just the one' for her," the source added.
