London, Feb 14 : Sir Paul McCartney reportedly told his attorneys to offer Heather Mills 30 million pounds to 'get her off his back.'
A source heard the former Beatle talking to his lawyers on day one of the couple's High Court divorce battle.
"I had been at another case. I was about a yard behind them," The Sun quoted the source, as saying.
"He was very irate and told his lawyer, 'Offer her œ30million - get her off my back.'
"His lawyer replied, 'We'll have to see about that later'."
"I couldn't believe that I'd seen him, or what I overheard.
"Paul then took a call on his mobile phone and they got into their car and were driven off," the source added.
