Macca, Mills on verge of divorce deal

It seems that Sir Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills are edging steadily towards a divorce deal as the pair emerged grinning from the second day of their dramatic High Court battle.

London, Feb 13 : It seems that Sir Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills are edging steadily towards a divorce deal as the pair emerged grinning from the second day of their dramatic High Court battle.

Sources said that the divorce looked likely to be settled this week.

"Both sides want a deal as soon as possible," The Sun quoted one source, as saying.

The mood at the hearing was noticeably lighter on the second say.

The former Beatle said 'no comment' as he left the building at the end of the five-hour session. He looked more relaxed than he had the previous day.

During a break Macca even shook the hand of Mills' personal trainer Ben Amigoni - the man he once suspected was having an affair with his wife.

He spoke to him and held out his hand to be shaken in a gesture of goodwill.

At the same time Mills emerged from court with a broad grin across her face, looking relaxed and happy throughout the day.

Although she was unable to comment on the proceedings she did smile at reporters and whisper: 'Can't talk, can't talk.'

But when her legal adviser David Rosen was asked why her mood had lifted, he said: 'She's happy.'
