London, Feb 13 : English singer songwriter Lily Allen spoke out about her heart-breaking start to the New Year on her Myspace page.
Allen, who had a miscarriage and later broke off with 37-year-old Chemical Brothers boyfriend Ed Simons, opened up to her fans and told them how she has bought a car and a laptop to cheer herself up.
Lily, who is 22-years-old, admitted in her blog on Feb 12, on social networking website MySpace, that she was miserable.
"I have been miserable lately so I bought myself a new car. I'm trying to get back to normality after what has been a rocky start to the year," the Daily Mirror quoted her as saying.
Lily is said to also be fronting a new TV chat show, Lily Allen and Friends, which began on BBC3 on Feb 12.
