Washington, Feb 13 : American pop and R and B singer Stacy Ann Ferguson or Fergie's mum has shot down rumours that she is pregnant.
Terri was on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday Feb 12, when she was asked about the rumours of the pregnancy.
"Nope, not at all," People mag reported her as replying to the question.
"Did you see her at the Grammy's?" said Terri, who described 32-year-old Fergie, as "skinny, skinny, skinny."
Fergie's rep, Hillary Siskind, who was speaking to People magazine, replied in the negative also when she was asked if the story which had appeared in New York Post Page Six was true.
"Not true," Siskind said.
Rumours had started that Fergie was readjusting her wedding date due to the fact that she was pregnant, when in fact the two according to Fergie's mom, "haven't met with a wedding planner yet."
"We are not moving up the wedding," Ferguson clarified on behalf of her daughter.
When she was asked what might have triggered rumours of an early wedding and a pregnancy, Terri told Seacrest, that a love marriage was not what people expected.
"I think people can't believe people do get married just because they love each other, not because they are pregnant," she said.
Ferguson also said she's in no hurry for her daughter to provide her with grandkids and did not expect Fergie to start a family right away.
"Not soon, soon, a couple years. They are newly engaged, Let them plan the wedding and all that," she added.
