Reese is hopeful that her kids will not get any special treatment at school, as she believes that disappointment plays a big part in character building.
The 'Walk The Line' star does not want 8-year-old Ava and 4-year-old Deacon to be protected from the realities of life, a fact that is prevalent in a trendy school that refuses to pick winners and losers.
"That's one of the most formative experiences. I wouldn't want my children to miss out on any of that teasing and bullying," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"It kind of makes you who you are - when you don't make it onto the soccer team. It drives me crazy when everyone wins the award," she stated.
"I remember the two weeks of crying because I didn't make the team. It makes me interesting," she added.
