Washington, Feb 11 : Lindsay Lohan has slammed the media for depicting her as an evil "cartoon caricature" - insisting that she is a "good person" at heart.
The actress is fed-up of her bad girl image and has vowed to change her ways after she landed herself in trouble in 2007 with two DUI convictions, which landed her in jail for sometime.
But the 21-year-old believes that the press have simply exaggerated her previous wild ways.
"There is so much written about me, there's this cartoon caricature that has manifested itself that doesn't exactly exist," Contactmusic quoted her, as telling Britain's Glamour magazine.
"The biggest misconception is probably that I don't have my head in the right place. That, and probably that I'm not a good person. That makes me sad, because actually I am," she added.
