American actress Lindsay Lohan has gone darker and shady, with her newly dyed brunette hair.

London, Feb 11 : American actress Lindsay Lohan has gone darker and shady, with her newly dyed brunette hair.

The 'Mean Girls' star had recently been photographed wearing a brunette wig in Santa Monica.

But she has now gone for it and dyed her hair permanently, reports The Sun.

Meanwhile, the actress said that she finds herself to be the "ideal" candidate for the lead role of Alice, in Tim Burton's 'Alice In Wonderland'.

The troubled actress is said to be desperate to work with the acclaimed director on his big screen adaptation, and wants the sought-after part of Alice in the Lewis Carroll classic in a bid to revive her flagging career.

"I hope they don't give it to an unknown. I'm ideal. I could really do it justice. I've been down the role," she said.
