Oprah missing from Obamas Inaugural celebrations contributor list

While top Hollywood stars, including Halle Berry and Sharon Stone, have shelled out big bucks to watch US pen a new chapter in history at Barack Obamas presidential inauguration ceremony, Oprah Winfreys name is yet to arrive on the list.

Washington, December 30 : While top Hollywood stars, including Halle Berry and Sharon Stone, have shelled out big bucks to watch US pen a new chapter in history at Barack Obama's presidential inauguration ceremony, Oprah Winfrey's name is yet to arrive on the list.

The media mogul-philanthropist, whose The Oprah Winfrey Show has been dubbed the highest-rated talk show in TV history, has yet to make a contribution to Obama's Inaugural celebration on January 20 next year.

The multi-millionaire TV presenter, who had publicly showed her support for Obama during the presidential elections, had contributed "only 2,300 dollars for his primary run, nothing for the presidential run," reports Fox News.

Winfrey was said to be falling behind her A-list counterparts who had taken up seats costing as much as 300,000 dollars.

According to the contributors list released by the Obama Inaugural Committee, music executive Nicole Avant, New York movers and shakers Barbara Lee Diamondstein-Spielvogel and hubby Carl fell into the 300,000 dollars group.

While the 50,000-dollar category included Hollywood names of Will Smith manager James Lassiter, director Ron Howard and Samuel L. Jackson, the 25,000-dollar group consisted of director Reginald Hudlin, Lionel Richie's ex wife Brenda, and "Terminator" producer Gale Hurd.
