Even though she has been trying to hide her bad habit, American actress Eva Longoria Parker was caught smoking while on her trip to Puerto Rico.
New York, Dec 3 : Even though she has been trying to hide her bad habit, American actress Eva Longoria Parker was caught smoking while on her trip to Puerto Rico.
Parker, 33, was spotted smoking several cigarettes this week as she strolled the streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she is attending the wedding of "Without a Trace" star Roselyn Sanchez.
"She hates to be photographed smoking," the New York Daily News quoted X-17 owner Frank Navarre as saying.
"But we get her once in a while," he added.
But Parker is not the only actress, who tries to hide her smoking habit, joining her is "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad, who goes to great lengths to hide her habit.
"She avoids it," Navarre said of Conrad.
Others who try to hide their habit, include Britney Spears, though she has now gone public, Anne Hathaway, who has just given up this summer, and new mom Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
"It's so taboo," says Antonia Russo, a Manhattan image consultant who specializes in advising performing artists, when the question of keeping the habit a secret came up.
"There's definitely a concept of 'people who smoke just don't care about themselves' or they're socially irresponsible," she said.
"As a role model, you wouldn't want to be a part of that," she added.
