Prince Harry begged to be a bouncer at a club

Prince Harry, 23, was so impressed with the uniform that workers at a bar wore that he badgered British-born landlord Brian Sables to let him be a bouncer.

London, Aug 17 : Prince Harry, 23, was so impressed with the uniform that workers at a bar wore that he badgered British-born landlord Brian Sables to let him be a bouncer.

Harry, who was in Lesotho in southern Africa helping build a school with some of his army pals, asked Sables to let him be a bouncer at the Hopinn Bar in Butha-Buthe.

"Harry took a fancy to the uniform straight away and asked me, 'How do I get one?'" News of the World quoted him as saying.

"I said, 'You only get one of these if you work in the bar.' He said, 'I can do any job going'.

"I said, 'We've got only one job going at the moment and that's as a bouncer on the door', and he said, 'That's fine'," he revealed.

Harry was so determined to get the bar's T-shirt, that he was fine with being a bouncer, a royal source revealed.

"Harry adores going to Lesotho. He can just go to a bar for a few beers with his army pals and relax. He was so determined to get a T-shirt and be a doorman for the evening Brian couldn't turn him down," the source said.

Sables, who is from Doncaster but spends part of the year in Lesotho with wife Angela, had also loaned Harry 10 pounds to buy a round for his pals from the Blues and Royals Regiment, during his two-week trip.

"Harry was sitting there wondering who was paying for the next round," Sables said.

"He came up to me and said, 'Eh, I've got no money, just lend me a tenner'," he added.
