British socialite Peaches Geldofs new hubby American rocker Max Drummey has revealed that he is terrified of meeting his father-in-law, Sir Bob Geldof.
London, Aug 17 : British socialite Peaches Geldof's new hubby American rocker Max Drummey has revealed that he is "terrified" of meeting his father-in-law, Sir Bob Geldof.
Drummey, who tied the knot with Peaches in Las Vegas last week despite having dated for only one month, admitted that he dreads meeting the former Boomtown Rats rocker after the earful he got from him over the phone.
The 23-year-old, who plays in Los Angeles band Chester French, revealed that Sir Bob had launched into a series of foul-mouth rants over last week's shock marriage.
"Bob's not cool about the marriage. He's mad about it," the News of the World quoted him as saying.
"He's always been friendly but as you'd expect, he has what I call a healthy scepticism about me - I think any father would if their daughter got married the way we did.
"We've spoken on the phone four or five times and that was tough. We agreed we need to meet face to face. I am planning to get to England as soon as I can and, with Peaches, tell him my feelings. I'm really nervous but Peaches reckons it's all cool.
"I'm terrified of meeting him face to face but that's going to happen soon - it's all been arranged," he added.
Drummey will be flying in with his band for their UK tour this weekend, while Peaches is on holiday in Majorca with her dad, who was only told about the wedding 15 minutes before the Las Vegas ceremony.
