Rumors were abuzz that the former 'Friends' stunner was romantically involved with Matt Felker after reportedly splitting from rocker John Mayer.
But new reports suggest that the 39-year-old has never even met Felker.
"Jennifer's friends think Matt planted this false story to get press for himself. He's apparently done this kind of thing before," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
Felker, who is most famous for appearing in the video for Britney Spears' hit single Toxic, was linked to actress Selma Blair last year (07).
