Cheryl Cole has revealed that Simon Cowell helped her deal with her marriage crisis.
London, Aug 15 : Cheryl Cole has revealed that Simon Cowell helped her deal with her marriage crisis.
The 'Girls Aloud' star said that the X Factor 'king' provided the much-needed support after she found that her hubby, Ashley, was cheating on her.It was when reports came that the Chelsea star romped with blonde hairdresser Aimee Walton, 22, that Cowell came forward to support the stunner.
Though, the Coles broke up then, they have now re-united.
And since then, Cheryl has lavished all praises on Cowell.
"It's probably been one of the best years I've ever had, ironically. Girls Aloud have done a sell-out tour and played at the O2 - you can't describe that feeling. I've actually had a fantastic year in a weird way to be honest," The Sun quoted her, as saying.
However, she confessed that it was for Cowell, that she could gather her life together.
She revealed: "Just being around Simon - and his ego - has taught me quite a lot.
"He's actually made me a lot more confident and a lot more comfortable. The fact that he respects me means a great deal."In fact, the acid-tongued judge told her: "You could say I've made your life better."
Cheryl also joked that she fancied Cowell, saying: "I've always had a soft spot for Simon."
