Sienna Millers mother has spoken in defence of the actress over her much criticised relationship with married oil heir and actor Balthazar Getty.
London, Aug 14 : Sienna Miller's mother has spoken in defence of the actress over her much criticised relationship with married oil heir and actor Balthazar Getty.
Jo Miller, who met Balthazar for the first time during a trip to Los Angeles earlier this month, is shocked at what she calls the 'feeding frenzy' of abuse surrounding the actress and her new boyfriend.
"You can't understand how a woman seeing a man who has been separated from his wife [Rosetta Getty] for months can cause such a scandal. It's awful, I can't tell you. You wonder when it's all going to stop," the Daily Express quoted her, as saying.
However, Jo has expressed respect for those calling out for an end to 'Sienna bashing' - such as writer Julie Burchill, who defended her by arguing she'd been 'unfairly implicated' in the assorted break-ups of semi-attached men such as Jude Law, P Diddy, Sean Penn and now Balthazar.
"Thank goodness some people are seeing the hypocrisy of it all. I know it makes Sienna pleased to read these things. It means a lot to her when there's so much negativity and criticism around," she said.
