English rock guitarist Ronnie Woods estranged wife Jo Wood is determined to fight her hubbys teenage lover, Ekaterina Ivanova.
London, Aug 10 : English rock guitarist Ronnie Wood's estranged wife Jo Wood is determined to fight her hubby's teenage lover, Ekaterina Ivanova.
Even with the knowledge that her rival Ivanova had met the 61-year-old Rolling Stones member secretly at his Surrey rehab clinic last weekend, Jo has vowed that she will do everything to save her marriage.
"I will fight to save my marriage. We will try and work it out," the News of the World quoted Jo, 53, as telling her pals.
But it seems that Jo has come up against an equally determined opponent, as Ivanova, 19, is also determined to win over the star, insisting she is "not going to give Ronnie up".
Pals of the mum-of-four urged her to end her 23-year marriage, but she is now preparing for a bitter fight with the teenage waitress.
"Jo is still certain that this Russian girl means nothing to Ronnie," a close friend revealed.
"She didn't even seem bothered that Ekaterina went to see him," the friend said.
It is obvious that the singer is still interested in continuing his relationship with Ivanova, who turns 20 next week, especially after he wanted to see her at the Life Works Community centre in Old Woking where he is recovering.
"That speaks volumes," the pal added.
Ivanova, who is staying with pals in a villa in Corfu, is sure that she will win.
"When I saw Ronnie again my feelings were as strong as ever," she said.
"There is a very strong connection between us. It's electric," she added.
