Diaz turns to comedy to help heal grief of dads death

Cameron Diaz will show her new film What Happens In Vegas to her grieving family, in hope that a good laugh would pull them through the death of her father, Emilio.

Washington, April 28 : Cameron Diaz will show her new film 'What Happens In Vegas' to her grieving family, in hope that a 'good laugh' would pull them through the death of her father, Emilio.

Emilio Diaz died at the age of 58 from post-influenza MRSA pneumonia on April 15.

In a personal note to the press, the actress insists that laughter is the best therapy to cure the distress following her father's death, and is hoping the comedy will help them all heal.

"This weekend I am screening What Happens In Vegas for my family. It was a unanimous decision that we all needed to share a good laugh," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"After all that's why we make films like these. So people can leave behind their worries for a couple of hours. Have a good laugh," she added.
