Washington, April 18 : With the impending arrival of her baby, Jessica Alba's nesting instincts have kicked in and she is making the final preparations to welcome her first child.
Speaking at People's book party for Healthy Child Healthy World author Christopher Gavigan, the 26-year-old actress revealed that she wants to get the house ready as soon as possible because the time's running out.
"I'm just trying to get my house ready before the baby comes. It's kind of hectic, it's getting close and the house isn't even ready yet," People quoted Alba, as saying.
Alba, who has taken time off from acting, is handling the bulk of the duties to get ready for baby.
"I'm not working so it's been a good place to put all my energy so it's been a nice distraction," she said.
"I'm used to having to be somewhere all the time, and it's kind of the first time in my life where I really haven't been working in a while, and now it's just about the baby being healthy, the house being ready, and nesting, it's really different. It's cool - I feel like I'm fully absorbing the whole experience," she added.
