Cameron Diaz has been left heartbroken after losing her suddenly to pneumonia.

Washington, Apr 16 : Cameron Diaz has been left heartbroken after losing her suddenly to pneumonia.

According to TMZ, 58-year-old Emilio Diaz recently developed the flu which then turned into pneumonia.

Mr Diaz was a second generation Cuban-American who worked an oil company.

His daughter got the news while working on her new movie 'My Sister's Keeper'. Production on the movie has now been shut down, reports Usmagazine.com.

The 'Charlie's Angels' star's rep did not respond to request for comment.

It is also now doubtful that the actress will attend a scheduled private party thrown by British GQ and Dunhill, hosted by Elton John, his partner, David Furnish, and Dylan Jones, British GQ's editor.
