The 38-year-old actress admits that she finds interviews with media tiresome.
"I'm a terrible movie star. I'm not good at it. I can pretend to be but it takes a lot out of me. It's not my natural inclination to go, 'Oh good! Another talk show!'" Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
The 'Bridget Jones's Diary' star also insists on choosing roles that bear no resemblance to herself.
"I don't feel safe playing the girl who looks like me. There's not enough to hide behind," she said.
"The further removed the character is from my own, the more fun and easier it is," she added.
