Washington, Sept 9 : Troubled soul star Amy Winehouse's hubby has slammed Mercury Music Prize judges for 'robbing' her of the award she deserved.
The singer was nominated for the 40,000 dollars gong, but the prize went to rock group, the Klaxons
Blake Fielder-Civil said he didn't know why she did not get the award, but he was very proud of his wife performance.
"Amy was robbed. Who knows why they didn't give her the award. But I was so proud of her for her performance," Contactmusic quoted Fielder-Civil, as saying.
Fielder-Civil said that Winehouse doesn't need to check into rehab again.
"She's really well and she doesn't need to go back into rehab," he added.
