Washington, Sept 09: The initial meeting between late Beatle John Lennon and legendary actor Sir Michael Caine was marked by booze binge and 'bad behaviour.'
The English film actor recently revealed that the late rocker and he got drunk together and "behaved badly," when they first met.
The rocker met Caine at the Cannes Film Festival in France in 1964, where they became friends and also drinking partners.
"We were getting through this day of press conferences, me for the Ipcress File while I think he was probably doing A Hard Day's Night" Contactmusic.com Caine, as saying.
"We introduced ourselves to people as John Lemon and Michael Micklewhite, which is my real name. We got very pissed and behaved very, very badly," he added.
