Actor Clive Owen fears that his thriving acting career is costing him precious family time.

Washington, Sept 09: Actor Clive Owen fears that his thriving acting career is costing him precious family time.

The Closer star is scared that one day his young daughters will be all grown up and he would have missed their childhood.

Though the actor said that he tries to spend as much time as possible with his daughters Hannah, 10, and Eve, eight, in between films, he is still worried that it's not sufficient.

"I'm away from home a lot, so my absolute priority when I've got any time off is to hang with them. That's the most important thing," Contactmusic.com quoted him, as saying.

"They grow up fast and I don't want in 10 years time, when my daughter moves out into her first flat, to go, 'What happened?'" he added.

Owen confessed that his kids are not aware of what their father does for a living, as they are too young to see any of his films.

"Just look at my movies; you'd never let a kid watch them: 'Hey Eve, my little eight-year-old, come and check out Closer, you'll love it! Come and watch this sex scene with Monica Bellucci I did. I'd traumatise my little babies," he said.
