London, Sept 07: Former Spice girl, Melanie Brown reveals how hubby Stephen Belafonte popped the question.

Stephen had stirred up a romantic proposal when he froze an engagement ring inside an ice cube and slipped it into Melanie's cranberry juice.

"Even though he knows I like club soda, he poured me a cranberry juice, which I thought was really weird. But he had frozen my ring in this ice cube, so, by the time dinner was finished, I drank this cranberry juice, and I said, 'Oh, there's something in my ice!' And it was my ring," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Brown had accepted film producer, Stephen Belafonte's proposal in Los Angeles in June (07) and the pair got married in a secret Las Vegas ceremony later that month.
