Washington, Sept 7 : Joaquin Phoenix has been signed up to star in "Two Loves".
Also in final negotiations to star in the 2929 Prods. drama is Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow.
The movie is to be helmed by James Gray, with Donna Gigliotti and Anthony Katagas, producing and 2929 partners Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban and 2929 Productions president Marc Butan on as executive producers.
This will be the third time that Phoenix and Gray will be teaming up after 'The Yards' and 'We Own the Night'.
"This is a reunion on several levels that feels as inspiring as the project itself," Variety quoted Todd Wagner, as saying.
The movie revolves around a Brooklyn man torn between a family friend his parents wish he would marry and the beautiful but volatile new neighbour with whom he falls passionately in love.
