London, Sept 7 : If 'Four Weddings And A Funeral' bosses had had their way, actor Hugh Grant would have been without his famous foppish locks in the hit 1994 films.
Producer Duncan Kenworthy reveals that he wanted to give the actor a crew-cut for the movie, but changed his mind after Grant told him that he didn't look too good as a near-skinhead.
"I wanted to give Hugh a crew-cut for the film - and he was absolutely up for it," the Daily Express quoted Kenworthy, as saying.
"But then he introduced a note of uncertainty and said, 'You know, I did have short hair once and I didn't look very good'.
"And the risk at that point of making a real cock-up and having to have him wear a wig the whole time was just too great, so I said, 'OK, let's leave it floppy'. And thank God I did."
