Washington, Sept 7 : It's official - Britney Spears will be making her comeback at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
MTV released a statement on Thursday, Sept 6, confirming rumours that had been running for weeks that Britney would be performing at the annual event, and that she will opening the show.
VMA executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic then told MTV.com that Britney will be "doing her thing" while on stage. He would not however, reveal what songs she will be performing to other than her new single "Gimme More".
"You can expect the things we want and expect from Britney-that will all be there. What I've seen of it is great. She'll be dancing, performing, doing her thing. That's exactly what we all want," E! Online quoted Ignjatovic, as telling the website.
