Samuel Bayer to direct Scarlett Johansson in Brilliance

Actress Scarlett Johansson will once again work with director Samuel Bayer, who helmed her in the saucy music video of Justin Timberlakes song What goes around...Comes Around.

Melbourne, Sept. 5 : Actress Scarlett Johansson will once again work with director Samuel Bayer, who helmed her in the saucy music video of Justin Timberlake's song What goes around...Comes Around.

Bayer has revealed that he is set to direct Johansson in a feature film called Brilliance.

"Scarlett is one of the sexiest actresses around," Moviehole quoted him as telling MTV.

"And she can just become her characters. Look at what she did during the Corvette scene, which a lot of people won't catch. She was shooting that on a green screen, and right before we were rolling, she was laughing. We start, and she's crying. It was just unbelievable. It's stuff like that which makes you know someone's a star," he added.

Bayer said that the new movie was about diamond thieves, and that the shooting for it would begin in the winter.

The director is also associated with the remake of Near Dark.
