Pitt thinks being 40-plus sucks

Hes one of the hottest stars in town, but Brad Pitt is worried that hes already losing his famous good looks now that hes crossed the 40-year mark.

New York, Sept 5 : He's one of the hottest stars in town, but Brad Pitt is worried that he's already losing his famous good looks now that he's crossed the 40-year mark.

The actor, in an interview with Details magazine for their October issue, admits that one thing that "sucks" about hitting 40, is the fact that that's when you start to lose your looks.

"Your face kind of goes. Your body's not quite working the same," the New York Daily News quotes him, as saying.

Pitt also opens up about his humanitarian crusades and insists that he's the better man because of them.

"[Before,] I carried the standard cynicism. But [I felt] I can't sit on my couch anymore. ... My life, it's very nice ... but it's not doing it for me..." he says.

"I see, like, Bono, getting in there, rolling up his sleeves and getting dirty. And taking shots for it. But, man, he's doing something. And I see an old documentary of John Lennon railing about something. At least they're in the ring."

And, his determination to make is difference is also what helped his relationship with ladylove Angelina Jolie.

"It's something that brought Angie and I together," he says.
