London, Sept 5 : Brit actor Jude Law was arrested for allegedly attacking a photog outside his home in Maida Vale, West London, on September 4.
Reports said that the photog suffered minor injuries after the 'Alfie' star tried to grab his camera, reports the Sun.
The snapper said that when the actor saw him taking his snaps, he started accusing him of being a 'paedophile who wanted to take pics of his kids'.
"I was at a bus stop near Jude's house but I wasn't taking pictures of him. My camera was still in the bag. He was by himself when he recognised me and started accusing me of being a paedophile and that all I wanted to do was take pictures of his children," Contactmusic quoted the photog, as saying.
"He then punched me in the face and started kicking me. I was shocked at his behaviour. You would expect that sort of behaviour from a yob, not from a big Hollywood actor," he said.
A police spokesperson said that the police was called in to the spot.
"Police were called out in to the Maida Vale area after reports of a disturbance and inquiries are being made,' the spokesperson said.
Law was taken to Marylebone police station on the suspicion of causing bodily harm.
The actor, who was let out on bail after being fingerprinted, is now set to appear in front of police officials next month.
