Singer Amy Winehouse has insisted that she and her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil will not meet a tragic meet like Sid Vicious and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen as predicted by her father-in-law.

London, Sept 4 : Singer Amy Winehouse has insisted that she and her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil will not meet a tragic meet like Sid Vicious and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen as predicted by her father-in-law.

Winehouse and Fielder-Civil returned from the Caribbean Islands on September 3.

The two had flown to St Lucia for a break, days after they walked out of rehab.

They arrived in UK carrying a framed photo of their marriage and vowed not to meet a tragic end like the musician and his ladylove

"We are not going to end up dead like Sid and Nancy," the Sun quoted them, as saying.

"We are not going to end up like them. We're in love and have everything to live for," Winehouse said.

Talking about media reports on their drug abuse, Fielder-Civil that lot of things have been great exaggerated.

However, he admitted that lot of things that have gone out of control have to be sorted out

"We vehemently deny the stuff about drugs. It's speculation - it's rubbish. We admit things have been a little crazy and have to change. We're going to sort ourselves out," he said.
