Theron left awestricken by soldiers acting in The Valley of Elah

Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron has revealed that she was left awestricken by the acting prowess of the real life soldiers who starred in her new movie The Valley of Elah.

Washington, Sept. 4 : Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron has revealed that she was left awestricken by the acting prowess of the real life soldiers who starred in her new movie The Valley of Elah.

The actress said that she had doubts whether the soldiers would be able to perform well in the movie or not.

She, however, was stunned to find that the warriors were skilful enough to match up to her talent, and that of her co-stars Susan Sarandon ad Tommy Lee Jones.

"Paul said, 'Trust me', and I did. They showed up and I was blown away. I couldn't tell the difference between the actors and the real soldiers," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"It was really great and amazing. Amazing actors and I think I know why. I think that all of this is still so fresh for them. That was really what this work was about, it was just the truths of their lives. I think that really helped," she added.
