Brad Pitt had a bit of a nervous moment when a crazed fan got too close for comfort at the Venice Film Festival taking place in Italy.

London, Sept 4 : Brad Pitt had a bit of a nervous moment when a crazed fan got too close for comfort at the Venice Film Festival taking place in Italy.

Pitt was making the rounds of the red carpet when a female fan fought her way through the crowd and tried to embrace him.

An onlooker said that Pitt wasn't very happy that the woman had been able to get so close to him, especially since she could have been dangerous.

"It was a scary moment. The security team must have been embarrassed that she was able to get that close to him. She could have been anyone. Brad didn't look very happy about it all," the Daily Mail quoted the onlooker, as saying.

Pitt is in Venice for the premiere of his film 'The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford'.

The actor not only stars in the film, which is a strong contender for the Golden Lion award, but is also producing it.
