John Leguizamo and Dan Futterman have signed on to star in Righteous Kill, along with actors Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.

Washington, Sept 4 : John Leguizamo and Dan Futterman have signed on to star in "Righteous Kill," along with actors Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.

Trilby Glover, pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, Brian Dennehy, Carla Gugino, 50 Cent and Donnie Wahlberg also join the cast.

"Inside Man" scriptwriter Russell Gewirtz will write the script for "Righteous Kill," while Jon Avnet will direct it, reports Variety.

The film is based on the long time police detectives who investigate a series of vigilante killings in New York City.

Overture Films will distribute the Nu Image/Millennium production domestically.

Avnet, Avi Lerner, Alexandra Milchan, Daniel Rosenberg, Rob Cowan and Randall Emmett produce the film.

Nu Image/Millennium reunites with Overture, which teamed up for the comedy-caper "Mad Money".
