Hugh Grant star-struck by Andie MacDowell

Actor Hugh Grant has admitted that he was star-struck when he discovered that his co-star in Four Weddings And A Funeral was to be Andie MacDowell.

London, Sep 4 : Actor Hugh Grant has admitted that he was star-struck when he discovered that his co-star in 'Four Weddings And A Funeral' was to be Andie MacDowell.

Grant, who was a relative new comer during the making of the 1994 film, said that he was quite scared of the American actress because she was a big star at the time.

"I was quite frightened of her because she was a film star," The Daily Express quoted him, as saying.

The actor added that though Andie turned out to be "quite cosy actually," it was her then husband Paul Qualley who had him quaking in his loafers.

"I was terrified of her husband," he said.

"He was one of those pathologically jealous showbusiness husbands. You'd be helping yourself at the same salad bowl and he would never ever say 'hello'. He was really scary," he added.
