Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is keen on casting Beatles legend Ringo Starr in an upcoming film.

Washington, Sept 29 : Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is keen on casting Beatles legend Ringo Starr in an upcoming film.

Pulp Fiction director is impressed with the drummer's presence onstage and believes he has the capacity to do justice to the role.

"I'm Elvis over the Beatles any day of the week but there's always been something special about Ringo," Contactmusic quoted Tarantino, as saying.

"I've always thought he had the best stage presence in the band," he said.

The cult filmmaker, who is a big fan of 1970's European soft-core sex films, recently revealed that he is keen on making an erotic film.
