London, Sep 24 : Scottish actress Katie Leung, better known as Harry Potter's on-screen love interest, is in the running to be named Scotland's Most Stylish Female of 2007.
The 20-year-old from Motherwell is up against the likes of Ugly Betty star Ashley Jensen, actress Laura Fraser, director of the Edinburgh International Film Festival Hannah McGill, and artist Gay Grossart.
The organizers have described Leung as "making fashion waves thanks to her youthful and quirky style."
The winner will be announced at the 2007 Scottish Style Awards in Glasgow on October 26, reports the Scotsman.
The shortlist was selected by a panel of judges, headed by the Australian supermodel Elle McPherson, who were asked to look for men and women "whose truly inspirational personal style is an important factor in their celebrity".
The nominees of the most stylish Scotsman include actor James McAvoy, Britain's most expensive goalkeeper, Craig Gordon, actor Kevin McKidd, and comic book and screen writer Grant Morrison.
Other awards for the taking include most stylish restaurant, bar, hotel, cafe, entertainment venue, boutique, fashion designer and musician. One surprise nomination in the retailing section is Topshop, mainly because of the coup in attracting the Kate Moss Collection.
