London, Sept 21 : The release of the third movie in the movie adaptation of CS Lewis' 'Chronicles of Narnia' series has been pushed back till 2010.
'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader' was supposed to hit theatres in May 2009, but a spokeswoman for Disney revealed that it had been delayed due to "challenging schedules" of the young actors.
Production on the pic is now going to begin in the summer of 2008 instead of January, reports the BBC.
The movie is being helmed by acclaimed film-maker Michael Apted.
In the meantime, fans of the series will be treated to the second movie in the series with 'Prince Caspian' scheduled to hit theatres on 16 May in the US.
Newcomer Ben Barnes will be playing the lead role, and will reprise his character in 'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader'.
Returning to the cast will be Georgie Henley, who played Lucy, and Skandar Keynes, who played Edmund in 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe'.
Starring James McAvoy and Tilda Swinton, the first instalment of the Narnia series took 744 million dollars worldwide.
