Bret Ratner, Chris Tucker reteam for Mr. S: My Life With Frank Sinatra

After the Rush Hour movies, director Brett Ratner and actor Chris Tucker will be teaming up once again for New Lines Mr. S: My Life With Frank Sinatra.

Washington, Sept 20 : After the 'Rush Hour' movies, director Brett Ratner and actor Chris Tucker will be teaming up once again for New Line's "Mr. S: My Life With Frank Sinatra".

The studio has picked up the rights to George Jacobs' biography, and Ratner is attached to direct.

Tucker is said to be keen on getting the role of George Jacobs, Sinatra's valet from 1953-68.

The Jacobs and William Stadiem penned book, was first published by HarperCollins in 2003. It offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of Sinatra and the Rat Pack.

Stadiem has been signed on to pen the screenplay, which weaves in celebrity anecdotes involving Marilyn Monroe, Peter Lawford, the Kennedys, Ava Gardner, Humphrey Bogart, Mia Farrow, Elvis Presley, Swifty Lazar and Marlene Dietrich, among others.

"It's like a love story between two very unlikely people. Brett is a Rat Pack obsessive, and so it's fun to work with someone so passionate about the period. I think he's channeling Frank sometimes," Variety quoted Stadiem, as saying.

Tucker agreed to Jacobs' part after meeting and bonding with him in the summer.

Jay Stern's Rat Entertainment's will produce alongside Adam Fields.

Apart from the 'Rush Hour' trilogy, Ratner has also directed Tucked in his feature directorial debut, "Money Talks" as well as "After the Sunset."
