Weeks after a low- key ceremony, singer Usher and Tameka Foster realised their dream wedding.
Washington, Sept 2 : Weeks after a low- key ceremony, singer Usher and Tameka Foster realised their dream wedding.
The couple, who had exchanged vows in a civil ceremony on August 3, again wed in a large, glitzy ceremony in Atlanta on September 1.
Over 200 guests were invited for the wedding that took place at the luxurious Chateau Elan Winery and Resort, a 16th-century-style French chateau set on 3,500 acres of rolling hills outside Atlanta.
"I'm thrilled that this is finally happening. It was a long time coming, and I can't think of any two people who deserve happiness more than they do," People magazine quoted a guest, as saying.
Another guest said that the couple wanted their wedding to be 'perfect'.
"They are in love and they wanted this to be perfect. "They had their reasons for not getting married (before), and that's their own business. Now they could get things done the way they wanted to, their family and friends can be here now," the guest said.
The other guests included Oprah Winfrey's pal Gayle King and music manager Benny Medina.
Foster's mum Jonetta Patton, who reportedly had a fall out with her daughter, did not attend the wedding.
