New York, Sep 2 : Britney Spears is reportedly planning a "shocking" comeback at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, to be held on September 9.
The pop diva is said to have employed the services of her new rumoured lover magician Criss Angel to spice up her act.
According to sources, the 'Mindfreak' star will help Spears vanish and then reappear several times through mirrors during her performance.
To make the performance even more shocking, Spears' dancers will be harnessed for simulated flight.
Britney's new comeback single 'Gimme More' made its official debut on radio station Z100's Web site and was also leaked to other sites.
The new dance track, meant to revive the pop tart's decayed career, begins with a bold declaration: "It's Britney, bitch!"
