She failed to win the Mercury Music Prize and at the MTV VMAs, but Amy Winehouse is still the favourite to scoop the Best Album gong at the Q Awards.

London, Sept 13 : She failed to win the Mercury Music Prize and at the MTV VMAs, but Amy Winehouse is still the favourite to scoop the Best Album gong at the Q Awards.

The 23-year-old lost out on the 40,000 dollars prize, which went to rock group, the Klaxons

The Brit star's 'Back To Black ' is up for the award along with Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Arcade Fire and the Manics, reports the Mirror.

Winehouse's arch-rival 'Smile' star Lily Allen's video Alfie has been nominated for the Best Video.

The awards function will take place is scheduled for October 8.
