The heartthrob rebuffed rumours that he was planning to marry girlfriend Anna Kournikova, a tennis star, who he has been going steady with for the past five years.

"I'm quite a loner." Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

The recluse Enrique said that he could see himself growing old alone, spending time surfing and fishing.

"I still see myself ending my days on a Florida beach, surfing and fishing alone."
