Julianne Moore, Wynona Ryder and Robin Wright Penn, have been roped in to star in drama-comedy The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

Washington, Oct 30 : Julianne Moore, Wynona Ryder and Robin Wright Penn, have been roped in to star in drama-comedy 'The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.'

The film, to be directed by Rebecca Miller, centres around the life of a dutiful wife whose husband falls for a younger woman, freeing her to explore her buried sensuality and leading to a "a very quiet nervous breakdown."

Lemore Syvan from Elevation Filmworks will produce the film along with Plan B Entertainment, Variety reports.

London-based Lumina Films is co-producing and managing worldwide sales, with CAA partnering on the sale of domestic distribution rights.

Lumina Films will introduce the movie to international buyers at the upcoming AFM in Santa Monica.

The shooting is scheduled to kick off in April in Connecticut.
