Washington, Oct 27 : Singer Mariah Carey has urged distressed stars Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears to be focused and feel free to do what they aspired for.
Asking them to live life at their cost, Carey said they don't have to care about what the media says about them.
"Don't read the tabloids. Don't be obsessed with what people are writing or saying," Contactmusic quoted Carey as saying
"I would say you need to be very centered, and spiritually know where you're at, all the time," she said.
The R and B superstar, who has also suffered an emotional breakdown in 2001, said that her life has got back on track after she became spiritual.
"My lifestyle has changed since making it. It's not a financial struggle, but I'm still struggling in a lot of ways... It took me a long time to acknowledge that my personal feelings mattered," she said.
