Costner contemplating film on basketball

Actor- turned- director Kevin Costners passion for basketball has driven him to contemplate a film on the sport.

Washington, Oct 2 : Actor- turned- director Kevin Costner's passion for basketball has driven him to contemplate a film on the sport.

The Oscar-winning-actor, who has already helmed films on baseball and golf, revealed that basketball was next in his pipeline.

Costner said that after successful movies like 'Bull Durham' and 'Field of Dreams,' a film on basketball will help boost his profile further.

"I've got my own court at home in California. Friends come over and play and my wife and I go to see the L.A. Lakers," Contactmusic quoted Costner, as saying.

"I've made a lot of sports movies. Bull Durham and Field of Dreams really raised my profile. I haven't done a basketball movie. I should," he added.
